Founded over 2000 years ago a an roman camp, cologne has always been and is still today one of the biggest and most important cities in all germany.
While there are still many interessting and beuatiful buildings and sights from from Cologne's long history, yet, it's one of the modern, cosmopolitan centers of the region and all germany.
Visit the famous cathedral and the shrine of the three kings.
During a walk through the old town of cologne you will see many remainings from ancient roman and medieval times and also many modern famous museums and art-galleries.
On the way back to Frankfurt, we will make stop in the magnificent old town of Limburg an der Lahn with enough time for a little shopping or sightseeing.
