SUICA [the popular prepaid e-money card to get around!]

Get a Suica which will allow you to travel major cities without buying train tickets.
As long as you have a Suica, you will be able to visit anywhere you want to go. Because of the taxing, Suica is cheaper than buying a paper ticket, and it saves you a lot of time not having to worry about how and where to get tickets.

We will preload on your Suica card
Please choose the options depending on how much money you would like to have preloaded on your Suica card when you get it.For your information, if you are traveling the whole day, you might use 1000 yen per day.

※JR East Japan charges a 500yen deposit for every Suica card purchased which is included in the price of each option. You are eligible of a refund of the deposit if you return the card to any JR station before leaving Japan.
※You can pick up your SUICA at check-in time in your hotel. If you are not staying at a hotel, please pick up it from our shop in Harajuku.

Remarks

ABOUT REFUND of SUICA;
Suica cards can be returned only at JR East stations.
When the card is returned, the deposit of 500 yen is returned along with any remaining amount.
There is a charge of 220 yen to return a Suica card, which is deducted from the total. For refunds, a fee of 220 yen is subtracted from the total, and then the initial 500 yen deposit is added.
Refund examples;
With a balance of 1,000 yen, the fee of 220 yen is subtracted for 780 yen, and then the deposit of 500 yen is added for a refund of 1,280 yen. When the balance is 100 yen, subtracting the fee leaves less than zero, so the amount is considered zero, and then the deposit of 500 yen is added for a total refund of 500 yen.
*SUICA for child is not available.
