Sarnath is famous for being the first place where Lord Buddha preached for the first time after gaining enlightenment. This place is related to Buddhism. It is said to mark the spot where the Buddha gave the first sermon to his first five Brahmin disciples after attaining enlightenment. Morgan shakti temple is a small but interesting Buddhist temple with a mural of a Japanese painter. In the Sarnath Museum, there are many masterpieces of ancient Buddhist art on display, but the most famous is “four-lion statue”. And it is now adopted as the national emblem of India.
