Guide to getting the most out of the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum (3/3)
With the world-famous Doraemon at its forefront, this museum features all of Fujiko F. Fujio’s creations. Numerous pieces of rare and original artwork and various videos convey his playful, dream-filled worldview to museum-goers of all ages. This time we’ll tell you about the museum’s photo spots, along with interesting points to stimulate your curiosity.
You can meet a lot of Fujiko F. Fujio's characters in "Harappa" (field), which stretches out over the top floor of the museum. Life-sized Doraemon, Nobita and Pisuke, Perman, Dorami-chan... Take a closer look, and you'll find lots of different characters and items hiding in the forest.
Harappa's mysterious atmosphere is enough to make you forget that you're on the 3rd floor of a building.
On days that are rainy or sunny and hot, you can borrow an umbrella.

"Lumberjack Springs" in the resting corner beyond "Exposition Room II". If you work the pump, good-looking Gian pops out.
Take a picture quickly - he only appears for a few seconds. Children love how he wooshes back down!
Try to find the art piece displayed in the "Manga Corner," where
you can read manga to your heart's content.
The "Kids' Space" - an area geared towards preschoolers - is full of hidden gadgets and wooden toys that make mysterious sounds.
Doraemon and Dorami-chan Gachapon (a small vending machine
which sells toys) in the "Peoples' Plaza". One try, 200 yen.
Experience the world of imagination in the "If Box". Supposedly there are several "surprises" per day.
Take a commemorative purikura (photo booth picture) in the
machines at the back of the "Peoples' Plaza." One try, 400 yen.
Try the "Peoples' Plaza" science-fiction adventure corner for a
slightly curious experience.
This museum is brimming with manifestations of the playful and slightly curious world of Fujiko F. Fujio.
