Hozen-ji Yokocho

This 17th century Buddhist temple, although relatively new, is a historical landmark of Osaka. If you're craving a bit of culture, this unique spot is a nice place to visit. Although a quiet, small space, it attracts visitors due to the moss covered statue of the deity Fudomyoo. People splash water on the statue for prosperity and to expel evil spirits, thus the resulting moss growing upon the statue.
